🌠 1. Fortnite OG “Blast Off” Live Event (July 26)
On July 26, Fortnite revisited its roots with the Blast Off live event, a remastered version of the iconic 2018 rocket launch. This time, a red crack ripped through the sky, clearly signaling multiversal instability and teasing major storyline shifts.
The event confirmed what fans had hoped: Fortnite OG is no longer temporary. Epic Games announced that OG modes and POIs are here to stay, with a new OG season set to launch in early August. Expect the return of locations like Dusty Divot, Risky Reels, and Tilted Towers, with map variations rolling out weekly. OG cosmetics and vaulted weapons are also expected to cycle back into the game.

🦸♂️ 2. Superman Live Event (Coming August 2)
Epic is building up to a major Superman-centric live event on Saturday, August 2. The playlist goes live at 7:00 PM BST, with the event starting 30 minutes later. This will be the climax of the Chapter 6 Season 3 storyline, which has heavily focused on Superman’s arrival and escalating multiversal threats.
This event is expected to introduce a new mythic-tier ability, rumored to be “Kryptonian Flight,” and could result in map destruction or a temporary shift to a zero-gravity zone. Leaks suggest that it might also serve as a soft lead-in to Season 4's sci-fi theme.

🧱 3. Chapter 6 Season 3: “Fortnite Super” — Patch v36.20
The v36.20 update, released July 15, brought several headline changes across Battle Royale and Blitz Royale modes. The Fortress of Solitude POI landed near the snowy biome, offering Superman-exclusive loot like Heat Vision Gloves and Kryptonian Shield Bubbles.
Meanwhile, the Blitz Royale: Boon Bonanza mini-event continues to run, delivering weekly rotation modes with XP-rich medallions. Completing 5+ medallion quests unlocks high-tier cosmetics, while logging in during the event window rewards players with the Blitz Axe pickaxe, free until July 29.
This patch also introduced performance boosts in Creative and UEFN, making custom islands more stable and loading times shorter. Changes to healing mechanics (no healing mid-air) also shifted combat tactics significantly.

🧩 4. Fantastic Four Collaboration & Cup
Fortnite’s collab with Marvel’s Fantastic Four is now live. The Fantastic Four Cup took place on July 23, giving competitive players a shot at early access to four skins: Mr. Fantastic, Invisible Woman, Human Torch, and The Thing. Cosmetic sets included matching back bling, emotes, and a loading screen.
Scoring at least 8 points in the Cup unlocked the “Emblema Fantástico” spray, a limited-edition reward. The full bundle officially dropped in the Item Shop on July 25, coinciding with the global film premiere.
This collaboration marks another chapter in Fortnite's growing Marvel integration. According to recent datamines, Doctor Doom and Silver Surfer may return in the next content cycle, possibly tied to Season 4.

🌐 5. Fortnite’s iOS UK Return in Jeopardy
Epic Games has confirmed that Fortnite will not relaunch on iOS devices in the UK this year. Despite previous plans to bring Fortnite back via the Epic Games Store for iOS, the UK’s Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) has pushed back against this move.
Epic argues that the CMA’s current stance effectively blocks third-party app stores, undermining fair competition and access for UK users. This decision means UK players may continue to miss out on mobile cross-play, touch controls, and on-the-go access, which remain available in other EU regions.
The situation remains fluid, but for now, Fortnite fans in the UK are left waiting with no timeline for mobile return.

⏭ 6. What’s Next: Season 4 & Rumors
Chapter 6 Season 3 is projected to end around August 8, with a short downtime before Season 4 drops mid-August. Leaks strongly suggest a sci-fi or alien invasion theme, with map changes focused on spacecraft, otherworldly energy zones, and possibly a new biome replacing part of the desert region.
Rumors also hint at a return of UFOs, new NPC factions, and even a Mortal Kombat crossover as part of Epic’s multiverse expansion. Internally, Epic is testing Creative 2.2 tools, expected to launch during Season 4 and give creators more control over game logic and world design.
Expect an official teaser trailer and countdown timer to appear shortly after the Superman event.
